Don't waste money on lame music like me. UGH.
I was SO excited for the new Panic! At the Disco album. Like, so excited.
So I pre-ordered, naturally, on itunes.
This is the biggest waste of recorded space since....since...(i don't have time to pilfer for some amazing reference online) Flo Rida. That is as good as I got right now.
However, post-Lent, I have picked up some awesome stuff, by which I highly recommend:
Hot Chip - http://youtube.com/watch?v=yhASu2OjEcQ (embedding was disabled by the record company)
This video makes me LOVE art. And makes me want to run off Europe to meet up with artists under the Eiffel tower. Then I realize that will never work. :)
Tokyo Police Club -
This video makes me want to open up an indie rock club, in Newport of course, and have a photo booth. I would serve Stella, and have really stylistic bartenders, and lots of poloroid cameras. Then I realize that will never work.
And thus, I must go back to work, and once again obey math.
moonlight - illuminates your stare and it's great, captivating you. Does that trouble you? I didn't mean to trouble you...

Some Buzz from SXSW
So if you haven't been paying attention - SXSW is now going on.
I have been trying to keep up on any buzz that I hear and this band surfaced:
Chester French
Check out - The Jimmy Choo's
Pretty sweet - sort of reminds me of Phantom Planet/Rooney/Strokes meets a dark hipster lounge (LA, not NYC) with lots of indie kids standing around, not moving, but totally in love with every note they hear. There is also this strange bit of 70's (doors maybe?) that I can't shake when I hear it, and I can't identify what about it makes me feel that way. Something about the effects on the vocals.
Anyway, check it.

Thanks for passing along the 80's love...
Personal DNA
This was actually a really compelling and fun personality test to take. You can mouse over the different colors to see what they mean and how they relate to my personality. I think I have completed hundreds of these, but it was fun nontheless.. :)
A Semicolon's Dream Journal
Semicolon's Dream Journal
If English language jokes are your thing...this is awesome. Enjoy.
Basically it is a blog written in the perspective of a semicolon. Poor semicolon, a dying English punctuation mark.
